CNC Wire Form Programmer / Set-Up Technician

The Role

We build custom springs and wire forms for engineers who can’t buy them off a shelf. We’re looking for a programmer/set-up tech who can take a print, program the machine, dial in the setup, and run first-piece validation — then work with the floor to make the job run faster and cleaner.

What You’ll Do

  • Program and set up CNC wire forming and spring coiling equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and translate complex spring and wire form geometries into efficient programs
  • Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece validation
  • Troubleshoot process issues and refine programs to cut scrap and cycle time
  • Support coiling, forming, grinding, and secondary operations as needed
  • Work directly with operators and production to improve quality and consistency

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in a wire form or spring coiling set-up/programming role strongly preferred
  • Ability to read prints and turn designs into working machine programs
  • Hands-on knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and adjustments
  • A problem-solver’s mindset — you notice what’s slowing a job down and fix it

Pay & Benefits

  • $45,000–$65,000/year, based on experience
  • Bonus eligible
